Outdoor courtyard
Baroque / neoclassicism.
Century XVIII.
Location:
Access to the monastery.
This space is made up of two large wings and the current body of the façade that forms the entrance courtyard to the monastery. The work was designed by Miguel de Hinojosa at the end of the 18th century and culminates the great construction development begun in the previous century.
These new spaces were essentially dedicated to individual cells in the upper part and administrative units, offices and warehouses, in the lower part. Today they house the classrooms of the educational center.
The entrance door to the monastery stands out, culminating in the coat of arms of Castile, the image of the Virgin and Child, all topped by a crown.
